A dinner to celebrate Mr. Vlade Divac's entry into the NBA Hall of Fame was held at the Dawson Restaurant in Chicago on September 9, 2019. It was organized by the Ana & Vlade Divac Charity Fund. The invitee were donors, prominent businessmen and representatives of the most respected families of Serbian descent, as well as several SOC priests.

Following the presentation of the fascinating life and sports journey of our first and most famous NBA player Mr. Vlade Divac, Ana and Vlade Divac gave their short speeches, as well as some of their donors and friends. The latest project to collect aid for the reconstruction of the Technical School in Vladicin Han was also promoted, where 840 students attend in extremely poor conditions, whilst some of them won the prize in the robotics competition for the second year in a row.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Chicago was represented by the new Acting Consul-General Mr. Milan Varadinovic and Vice-Consul Mr. Milinko Spica, as personal guests of the Bishop Irinej of New York.
