Milorad Veljovic, Director of Serbian Police, visited Chicago from October 23-28, to participate in the Annual Conference of the IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police). Topics that were represented at the conference dealt with the challenges which police services face in order to meet global and local levels. Conference participants were also addressed by President Barack Obama.

During his stay in Chicago, Police Director Milorad Veljovic visited the Consulate General and on that occasion he met with Milan Vujic, President of the Serbian-American Association of Police Officers. The two parties exchanged their views on the possibility of cooperation with the Association.
