Serbian Cultural and Artistic Society "Stevan Mokranjac" from Vienna performed four concerts called "There, far Away...a Nostalgic Trip Through Serbia" as part of the American tour, from June 27 to July 6, 2015. Concerts were held in Milwaukee and Madison (Wisconsin), Chicago (Illinois) and Merrillville (Indiana).

The concert was held in Chicago at the prestigious Harris Theater. The concert in Chicago was performed by more than 40 members of the ensemble in folk dances from different parts of Serbia, and they performed several original Serbian folk songs.

Cultural and Artistic Society "Stevan Mokranjac" was founded in 1998 and for three years in a row is the winner of the Festival of folklore among ensembles of Serbian Diaspora in Europe. The tour in the US was organized in cooperation with Cultural and Artistic Society "Sumadija" from Milwaukee.

During their stay in Chicago ensemble members visited the Consulate General and the Acting Consul General welcomed them and wished them successful performances in the United States.
