Printer Friendly Version SCHOOLBOOKS FOR SERBIAN SCHOOLS IN MILWAUKEE AND CHICAGO @ 25 September 2014 08:23 PM

Acting Consul General Dejan Radulovic visited St. Sava Serbian School in Milwaukee and the Serbian Academy of St. Sava in Chicago. During the visit he presented them with textbooks in Serbian language which were obtained by the Consulate General of Serbia in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Serbia. Textbooks were donated by the publishing company Eduka from Belgrade.

Consulate General highly appreciates the mission of these schools to preserve the identity of the Serbian community, Serbian culture and language. There is an expectation that the donated books will further assist and facilitate teachers and students in learning the Serbian language. Representatives of schools and priests of the Church of Saint Sava in Milwaukee and Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Chicago expressed their gratitude for the donated books.
