Serbian men’s volleyball team visited Chicago from June 11-15, 2014. The team played two games against the U.S. team at the World Volleyball League for 2014. Chicago Sports Commission announced that one dollar from every ticket sold for the match will be donated toward the flood relief in Serbia.

Volleyball team delegation visited the Consulate General of Serbia. They also visited the New Gracanica Monastery, where the national team was welcomed by large number of members from the Chicago Serbian community.
