Acting Consul General Dejan Radulovic had a meeting with Steve Koch, Deputy Mayor of Chicago, at which time he informed him of the devastating floods in Serbia. He expressed hope that Chicago, as Belgrade’s sister city, may provide appropriate support to Belgrade and Serbia. At the same time, the Mr. Radulovic informed the Deputy Mayor about the activities of the Consulate General and the efforts of Chicago Serbian community to collect funds for flood relief.

Deputy Mayor Steve Koch expressed his condolences for the victims and his regret for the devastation caused by the floods. He conveyed that he will inform Mayor Emanuel of the meeting and consider possibility of support.

During the meeting, Mr. Radulovic and Mr. Koch exchanged opinions on cooperation of the sister cities, Belgrade and Chicago, in the upcoming period.
