The oldest Serbian documentary film “Crowning of King Peter I” from 1904, and a first Serbian feature film “The Life and Deeds of the Immortal Supreme Leader Karadjordje” from 1911, were shown at the Serbian-American Museum St. Sava in Chicago.  Projection of these films began the Retrospective of the Serbian Film which will showcase about twenty realizations of Serbian Cinematography.

Projections of the films will take place each Sunday through July 1, 2014.  Retrospective of the Serbian Film was organized by the Serbian-American Museum St. Sava and the Department of Slavic Languages and Literature from the University of Chicago.
